Aaron Perkins joined the firm in 2006 and works in a variety of intellectual property practice areas such as patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation. His expertise has supported clients in a wide range of technology fields, including microprocessors, wired & wireless networks, memory devices, display devices, signal processing, internet applications, oil & gas, gas turbines, and consumer products. Aaron’s experience includes opinion preparation as well as drafting and negotiating licenses and other intellectual property agreements. He also has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation including: pre-suit planning and negotiating, electronic discovery, Markman proceedings, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and settlement negotiations. While earning his law degree at the University of Houston Law Center, he was an editor for the Houston Law Review. Before he began his legal career, Aaron taught high school Physics, Chemistry and Algebra. He is fluent in Spanish.
