Cameron Sneddon joined the firm in 2008 with a focus on chemical products, mechanical devices and semiconductors. As a summer associate in law school, Cameron worked for TraskBritt P.C. in Salt Lake City where he supported patent, copyright and trademark litigation matters. He also handled patent prosecution cases involving semiconductor and drilling technologies. Cameron also spent a summer in Munich, Germany, working for Wilhelm & Beck on patent cases related to semiconductor manufacturing and chip packaging. During law school, Cameron was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, the senior editor for The Seventh Circuit Review, and the article submissions editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Prior to law school, Cameron worked in Utah for Novatek Engineering where, among other highlights, he was a research and design engineer and a named inventor on fifteen issued patents for drilling technologies and downhole telemetry. He also passed the patent bar exam and became a patent agent while working for Novatek. Before this experience, Cameron was a production supervisor and process engineer at Compeq International, a high layer printed circuit board manufacturer. Cameron is active with his family and community with past leadership positions in the Boy Scouts of America and coaching youth basketball teams. Cameron is conversant in spoken and written German.
