Donald Verplancken was formerly Chief Patent Counsel with Applied Materials and joined the firm in 2002. Well-regarded in the field of intellectual property law, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Patterson & Sheridan especially in the areas of semiconductor manufacturing, electronics and computer science. Donald is highly skilled in transactional work related to licensing, mergers and acquisitions as well as portfolio management. He also invented several tools and procedures related to the manufacturing of integrated circuit devices.
