Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
The Vista Center empowers individuals who are blind or visually impaired to embrace life to the fullest. Serving individuals of all ages, the center offers programs and resources in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and San Benito to approximately 2,500 clients and families each year.
Shared vision, shared purpose
Patterson + Sheridan has a long history with the Vista Center, dating all the way back to 1999 when Senior Partner James Sheridan served on the Vista Center Board of Directors. Today, attorney Mark O’Boyle has joined the Board of Directors and represents the firm, also serving as co-chair on the strategic planning committee and a member of the finance review committee.
Each year, we support two major fundraising events benefitting the Vista Center. Patterson + Sheridan is a proud underwriter for Vintage Affaire, a premier wine auction that has raised over $8 million to support the center’s client services. Our partners also volunteer their time at the Menlo Charity Horse Show, an equestrian event that has raised over $6 million.
