Chih-Huai (Randy) Chiu joined the firm in 2008 as a technical advisor. He prepares and prosecutes domestic and international patent applications, with an emphasis on semiconductor processing and equipment. Randy has extensive prosecution experience in Taiwan and China. Prior to joining the firm, he spent five years as a chief patent engineer for Tsai Lee & Chen, an intellectual property law firm in Taiwan, where he prosecuted patent applications and provided legal opinions and litigation support for foreign clients. Randy is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and English.
