Chemistry-focused patent attorney and sharp legal writer
Jordan joined the firm in 2020 and focuses on preparing and prosecuting chemical-related patents for a variety of clients. She’s helped clients patent various compounds and solutions, including applications for the aerospace and food processing industries. She was a summer associate at the firm while in law school.
A former bankruptcy paralegal, Jordan clerked for the Honorable Marvin Isgur of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and interned with the First District Court of Appeals in Houston. These experiences fine-tuned her already strong writing skills developed in law school, where she received CALI Awards in multiple legal writing and research courses.
Jordan attended the South Texas College of Law Houston, where she was a managing editor of Corporate Counsel Review, a member of the South Texas Law Review and a Presidential Fellow. She received two bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and mathematics from Northwestern State University. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys scuba diving and traveling to tropical locations with open waters.
