Patterson + Sheridan #1 on Largest Houston-Area Intellectual Property Law Firms List

For the second time this year, Patterson + Sheridan has topped the Houston Business Journal’s intellectual property law firms list. The most recent list, published in September, ranks firms by the number of Houston-area lawyers who specialize in intellectual property law. The firm, with 42 local IP attorneys, ranked #1 on the list of 21 Houston firms.

Back in February,the firm ranked highest on another Houston Business Journal IP law firms list, in addition to being included on the largest energy law firms list.

About The List

Information was obtained from questionnaires completed by firm representatives. In order to qualify, a lawyer must spend at least 75 percent of their billable hours working on intellectual property-related cases. In the event of a tie, the number of local lawyers is the secondary ranking criteria.
