Patterson + Sheridan Names Two New Partners
Intellectual property boutique law firm Patterson + Sheridan LLP has promoted Houston associates Chad Dougherty and Steven Roberts to partner.
Chad Dougherty began his legal career at Patterson + Sheridan in 2007. He has a chemical engineering background and is experienced in semiconductor technologies, industrial products and the oil and gas sector. Dougherty has served as a mentor to the firm’s summer associates and also dedicates time to visiting high schools and teaching students about the legal profession. He graduated from Penn State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and obtained his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2009.
Steven Roberts started with the firm as a Technical Advisor in 2006. He is a former electrical design engineer and has in-depth knowledge of a wide range of complex technologies. Roberts graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and obtained his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2012.
