Jeff Spiers has joined intellectual property and technology law firm Patterson + Sheridan LLP as chief executive officer. He will be located primarily in the Houston office of the firm.

Spiers earned his B.S. degree in electrical engineering at Rice University and his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law. He joined Andrews Kurth LLP (now Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP) in Houston out of law school and practiced bankruptcy law at the firm before he was asked, in 2015, to take over the responsibilities of executive director. He brings over 30 years of experience practicing law and leading a law firm as CEO to Patterson + Sheridan.
