Patterson Sheridan Tops Houston Business Journal’s 2023 List of Largest Houston-Area IP Law Firms

For a consecutive year, The Houston Business Journal has named Patterson Sheridan as the largest intellectual property law firm in the Houston area. Ranked #1 on the list of 25 Houston firms, Patterson Sheridan’s Houston office houses 46 local IP attorneys that provide IP services to some of the world’s top companies. A large portion of the attorneys have extensive engineering experience to complement the city’s hub of booming industries such as energy, tech and petroleum.

The recently published June 2023 list ranks firms by the number of Houston-area lawyers who specialize in intellectual property law and spend at least 75 percent of their billable hours working on intellectual property-related matters. Nationally recognized in intellectual property, the firm serves clients located anywhere from Texas’ largest city handling every step of the IP process, including Patent Preparation and Prosecution, Trademarks, Patent Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Technology, Licensing, and IP Transactions. In addition to Houston, Patterson Sheridan has offices in Dallas, Waco, San Jose, San Diego, Shrewsbury, and Greensboro.
