Intellectual property boutique law firm Patterson + Sheridan LLP has added David Ashton as an associate in the Dallas office of the firm. Patterson + Sheridan has five offices across the U.S., in Houston; Dallas; Palo Alto; Greensboro, North Carolina; Shrewsbury, New Jersey; and an international office in Yokohama, Japan.

Ashton’s practice will focus on patent preparation and prosecution with an emphasis on semiconductor and manufacturing-related technologies. He earned a B.S. in industrial engineering at the University of Arizona, a Master of Engineering at Texas Tech University College of Engineering and his J.D. at Texas Tech University School of Law. Prior to joining Patterson + Sheridan, Ashton was with Stay Patented, LLC.
