Patterson + Sheridan Welcomes Grant Buchanan

Intellectual property boutique law firm Patterson + Sheridan LLP has added Grant Buchanan as an associate in the Houston office of the firm. Patterson + Sheridan has five offices across the U.S., in Houston; Dallas; Palo Alto; Greensboro, North Carolina; Shrewsbury, New Jersey; and an international office in Yokohama, Japan.

Buchanan’s practice will focus on patent preparation and prosecution for software, electronics and internet technologies, along with post-grant proceedings. He earned a B.S. in chemistry at Trinity University before obtaining his Ph.D. in organic chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Buchanan earned his J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center in 2015. Prior to joining Patterson + Sheridan, he was an associate attorney with K&L Gates in Chicago.
