Patterson + Sheridan Welcomes John-Paul Cherry
Intellectual property boutique law firm Patterson + Sheridan LLP has added John-Paul Cherry, Ph.D., as a patent agent in the Houston office of the firm. Patterson + Sheridan has six offices across the U.S., in Houston; Dallas; San Diego; San Jose; Greensboro, North Carolina; Shrewsbury, New Jersey; and an international office in Yokohama, Japan.
Dr. Cherry’s practice will focus on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, the incorporation of offensive, defensive and design-around strategies, and the preparation of patent due diligence matters, including freedom-to-operate, non-infringement, invalidity, and patentability matters.
Dr. Cherry earned a B.S. in chemistry from U.C.L.A., a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a J.D. from University of Houston Law Center.
