Lily Glick is an associate at Patterson + Sheridan’s Houston office who helps clients protect their intellectual property assets. She prepares and prosecutes patent applications involving chemical, consumer products, semiconductor technology and industrial products. Lily is well-versed in patentability requirements and has the scientific knowledge to draft an application that meets a client’s unique goals.
A registered professional engineer with a background in chemical engineering, Lily draws on that experience when dissecting complex information to discover exactly what is necessary to draft a comprehensive patent application. Lily’s previous work involved computational fluid dynamics modeling for a process safety consulting engineering firm. Working in fields from nuclear waste storage to ice cream production, she has sharpened her research and analytical skills, giving her insight into the complex process of developing new products and technologies. She now uses what she learned to help her clients secure patent protection for their innovations.

While pursuing her J.D. at The Ohio State University, Lily served as Chief Articles Editor of the Ohio State Technology Law Journal and was named 2021 Editor of the Year. Her strong writing skills and attention to detail set her apart and help her produce patent applications that are technically precise in a timely manner. During law school, Lily was a summer associate at Patterson + Sheridan.
In her spare time, Lily enjoys gaming and spending time with her cat, Khaleesi, and two Chihuahuas, Nala and Mulan.
