Raymond Cappo is an accomplished patent agent with over 34 years of professional experience. A former software engineer with AT&T, Raymond earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in electrical engineering. This early exposure in his career would prepare him to support highly complex inventions, which today include technologies such as semiconductor devices, virtualization, digital image processing and ultraviolet LED curing systems.
Broad legal expertise
Raymond’s experience includes writing and prosecuting both U.S. and foreign patents in the electrical and computer arts. He has also provided technical expertise in patent validity and infringement investigations along with conducting patentability searches for a variety of client products.
Additional technologies that Raymond has supported include cloud computing, multithreaded processors, CMOS imagers, lasers, fiber optic cable design, touch-screen systems, computer vision systems, encryption algorithms, IPTV systems, location-based listings systems and news delivery systems.
In his spare time, Raymond enjoys listening to classical music and reading.
