Patterson + Sheridan Welcomes Associate Aaron Lazarecky

Patterson + Sheridan LLP is pleased to welcome Aaron Lazarecky as an associate in the firm’s Orange County, California office. His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patents in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, as well as complex software, information technology, electronics and semiconductors.

Todd Patterson. “With his extensive knowledge and background in AI, and as technology continues to evolve, Aaron will be an excellent addition to our firm and our clients as we continue to be at the forefront of understanding and protecting advanced technologies.”

​​Prior to joining Patterson + Sheridan, Lazarecky worked as a patent attorney for an Am Law 200 firm in California, where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications related to large language models (LLMs), AI algorithms, user interfaces and applications and semiconductors. He also managed a patent portfolio of more than 25 active cases, including international patents in jurisdictions such as China, Europe, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Israel and Taiwan. In addition, he also spent several years as a design release engineer at a multinational automotive manufacturing company.

Lazarecky earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Wayne State University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University. Lazarecky is a former Senior Airman for the Michigan National Guard.
