Patterson + Sheridan Mansfield Rule for Midsize Firms Announcement

We are thrilled to announce that on September 15, 2020, Patterson + Sheridan began participating in Diversity Lab’s inaugural Mansfield Rule for Midsize Firms, an exciting and innovative national initiative that we hope will foster meaningful positive change within our Firm.

Participation in the Mansfield Rule for Midsize Firms is a commitment to consider women and diverse attorneys for new, leadership, and high visibility positions within our organization. This includes when we are hiring entry-level and lateral attorneys, selecting leaders for positions within our Firm, and forming teams for client presentations. The Midsize Mansfield Rule initiative also includes a commitment to be transparent in our internal governance and promotions.

The distinction of being Mansfield Certified will be awarded to all participating law firms that meet certain measurable objectives over the next eighteen months. We believe this certification will help make us stronger as a Firm and better positioned to meet our clients’ needs. Piloting the Mansfield Rule for Midsize Firms initiative is one way we can continue to demonstrate our pledge to diversity and inclusion.
