Patterson + Sheridan Sponsors Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Panel
Patterson + Sheridan, LLP is proud to co-sponsor the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles’s (WLALA) upcoming diversity and inclusion panel held virtually on Thursday, June 10. The panel will discuss how in-house counsel can promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through their engagement of outside counsel, internal hiring efforts, and retaining and promoting the success of diverse in-house counsel talent. The program will also focus on how to start the dialogue, get buy-in and guidance from senior management, and measure success.
WLALA was founded in 1919 with a dedicated focus to promote the full participation in the legal profession of women lawyers and judges from diverse perspectives and racial and ethnic backgrounds. WLALA has assembled a distinguished panel of speakers including Sharmini Green, Margot Jackson, Stephanie A. Montano, Jeannine Taylor and Jennifer Ishiguro (moderator) to discuss how to drive equitable change as in-house counsel and measure your success in the process.
“Diversity and inclusion drives innovation and growth. It’s important that we partner with our fellow colleagues to create meaningful, sustainable change in our profession. Our participation with WLALA is just another way the firm is continuing its commitment to promote equity and inclusion in IP.“ said Puja Detjen, Partner at Patterson + Sheridan, LLP.
Registration for this virtual discussion can be completed here.
