Intellectual property boutique law firm Patterson + Sheridan LLP has added Fumiko Yamaguchi, Ph.D., as patent agent in the Palo Alto office of the firm. Patterson + Sheridan has five offices across the U.S., in Palo Alto; Houston; Dallas; Greensboro, North Carolina; Shrewsbury, New Jersey; and an international office in Yokohama, Japan.

Yamaguchi will prepare and prosecute domestic and international patent applications, with an emphasis on electronic and semiconductor technologies. She earned a B.S, M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. Prior to joining Patterson + Sheridan, Yamaguchi was a patent agent at Osha Liang, LLP.
