Patterson + Sheridan Welcomes Patent Attorney Kristian Sullivan as Of Counsel

HOUSTON (Jan. 21, 2025) — Patterson + Sheridan LLP is pleased to welcome Kristian Sullivan as of counsel. He is based in the firm’s Houston office.

Sullivan brings more than 10 years of intellectual property (IP) experience to Patterson + Sheridan. His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patents in a broad range of fields, including chemicals, clean technology, complex software, medical devices and procedures, oil and gas services, transportation, construction and mechanical systems.

“We are excited to welcome Kristian to the firm,” said managing partner B. Todd Patterson. “He has well-rounded patent experience from serving as both in-house and outside counsel that will be a great asset to both our clients and the firm.”

​​Prior to joining Patterson + Sheridan, Sullivan served as of counsel for Am Law 100 firm, as well as an attorney and principal for a Houston IP firm. In addition to his time in private practice, he also spent more than 5 years as an in-house counsel at ExxonMobil.

Sullivan earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Houston.
