Dan joins the firm with several years of engineering experience after graduating from law school and being admitted to the Washington State Bar. Prior to law school, he worked as an electrical controls engineer in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food/beverage industries spending most of his time developing code and commissioning equipment in the field. During law school, he worked at an intellectual property law boutique firm gaining some patent prosecution experience and wrote an article on reasonable royalty patent damages, which has since been published. Upon graduating law school, Dan was elected to the Order of the Coif and received an award for highest grades in intellectual property law. Currently, his practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications.
