John Johannes joined Patterson and Sheridan in 2013 after graduating from law school and being admitted to the Wisconsin Bar. He prepares and prosecutes domestic and international patent applications, with an emphasis on wireless communications technology. John attended Marquette University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering. From 2010-2013, John attended law school at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. During law school, he interned twice for the Honorable Judge Rudolf Randa in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, primarily assisting Judge Randa with patent litigation matters. John also participated in Moot Court where he competed in the Chicago Appellate Lawyers Associate moot court competition and coached a team in the Giles Rich Intellectual Property moot court competition. While in law school, John was an active member in the Intellectual Property Student Organization
