Patterson + Sheridan Adds Associate, Patent Agent

Patterson + Sheridan LLP is pleased to share that associate Hunter Berry and technical advisor Chloë Sells have joined the firm.

“We are excited to welcome Hunter and Chloë,” said founding partner B. Todd Patterson. “Their deep technical knowledge and breadth of skills across emerging technologies will be invaluable to both our clients and the firm.”

Berry is an associate in the firm’s Greensboro office, where he prepares and prosecutes patents involving artificial intelligence and machine learning, communications technologies, software and information technology, electronics and semiconductors, financial technologies and the internet. Berry earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science/creative technologies and political science from Berry College.

Sells is a technical advisor in the firm’s Waco office. Drawing on her extensive background in chemistry, Sells assists with patent preparation and prosecution for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, electronics and semiconductor technology applications. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a production scientist for a DNA technology company and as an associate research scientist. Sells earned her Ph.D. and B.S. in Chemistry from Baylor University.
